Jasper Steed is the founder of a charity called Autism Smiles and is, himself, autistic.
He is in his early 20s. He did not get all the care he needed when he needed it. Being a very
caring individual and feeling that he is able to understand what most of the kids are going
through, he made a decision to provide help to other autistic kids. He wants to support and
help them as much as he can and to let them know he cares.
He lives in Virginia and is a game creator and also builds websites as a living. His goal is to
give the gift of technology to autistic kids, not only in Virginia, but across the states. I quote
from his website: " I want to be able to put smiles on these kids’ faces because I totally
understand how much they need it. I want them to be happy and turn out to be
somebody out in the real world. I would like to get people to help provide training for
jobs, real jobs, and I want to also be able to give each parent a free Internet bill while
their kid uses the computer. I have always wanted to help everybody living with this
disorder. I am trying to proceed with my dreams and I also want to be able to see
them get their dreams as well."
