The exact amount of weight you choose will be quilted into the body area of the blanket and slightly concentrated to the upper body area. There
will be unweighted space at the sides and foot of the blanket. If you want the weight evenly distributed, just ask.

If the blanket will be used only on a bed, the larger the blanket, the better it will stay in place. If the blanket will be hauled around to the living room, to the
car, to Grandma's, then a smaller size is much better. But the blanket should reach from the chin to at least 6 inches past the toes.

We at Salt of the Earth Weighted Gear are not professionally trained therapists and suggest that you ask an O.T. for advice concerning the amount of
weight to use. The average recommendation is 10% of the user's weight, + 1 pound for blanket footage. (Blanket area that is not on the user)

We recommend the polybead fill for blankets of only 2 or 3 pounds and stone for blankets 4 pounds and up.
Wash instructions will be attached to the blanket.
